Chevrolet Models
Chevrolet was founded by Louis Chevrolet, William C. Durant, William Little, and Edwin Cambell in 1911. The famous Chevy "bowtie" logo was first used in 1913, though its exact origins are disputed. Chevrolet would soon grow to become one of America's best-selling brands.
The fifties and sixties would be the golden era for Chevrolet. The first version of the small block Chevy was introduced in 1955, and the 1957 Bel Air is one of the world's most recognizable classic cars. In 1965, the Impala would sell over 1,000,000 units, a record that has never been surpassed. Many Chevrolet models have become household names over the years, including the Bel Air, Impala, Chevelle, Camaro, Monte Carlo, and Corvette.
